Kaizen

Kaizen is a Japanese term meaning "Change For Better" or "Continuous Improvement". " It is a Japanese business philosophy regarding the processes that continuously improve operations and involve all employees.

5S

5S is defined as a methodology that leads to a clean, safe, and well organised workplace that helps to reduce waste and maximise productivity. It is designed to help build a physically and mentally good working environment.

The pillars of 5S are simple to learn and important to implement:

  • Seiri: To separate needed tools, parts, and instructions from unneeded materials and to remove the unneeded ones.
  • Seiton: To neatly arrange and identify parts and tools for ease of use.
  • Seiso: To conduct a cleanup campaign.
  • Seiketsu: To conduct seiri, seiton, and seiso daily to maintain a workplace in perfect condition.
  • Shitsuke: To form the habit of always following the first four S’s.

Internal audits

Internal audits evaluate internal controls of a company, including corporate management and accounting procedures. These audits ensure compliance with legislation and regulations and contribute to ensuring that financial and data collection is accurate and timely.

Quality Circle

A Quality or Quality Circle is a working group that regularly meet to identify, analyse and resolve work-related problems.

TQM

Total quality management consists of organisational efforts to "instal and create a permanent climate in which employees are continuously improving their ability to supply special value products and services on demand."
